Looking for volunteers to run daily/weekly events. For example say every monday i run a storyteller event, or every sunday someone leads a pvp group. The CALENDAR is open to all registered members, anyone can post their event.
Lets try to have something everyday. It can be a huge staged storyteller event, running the instances or even as little as a tulrus kill collection run. Hopefully in time ill be able to log in and go "sweet its collection kill tuesday," or "Instance Run Friday."
Id like to have one of these days as a "social," day. We could hang out in cantina and roll dice for money, or just hang out on the beaches of Cdeli for a fishing trip.
Ever wonder how your new mod clothes/armor stack up against others? How about every Wednesday we meet and just kick each others a$$es?
Lots to do, the stage can be set for any occasion.

I love the idea. My schedule is hard to predict but I'll give it some thought and see if I can lead something.

It would be nice to do some old Mustifar runs. We all know those little up and coming lowbies that are gonna need stuff like JMC's, GLC's, Hilts, and Engine components for Lava Crystals (<--Myself on this last one as well). These are simple runs, quick and easy. Shouldn't be hard to round up a group able to pull them off and would provide nessicary equipment for some of the not so fortunate folks we have hanging around ALIGlobal and respective guilds. And even in the event we don't have folks needing the stuff, it would get folks doing something together, and worst case, most of the above listed go good on the market!
Keeping in mind we do have folks that don't go to Mustifar, we can always do stuff like: Crew a Gunship, instances, or as the original post states.... KILL SOMETHING! The possiablities are endless, its just rounding people up and getting them motivated is the issue... and thats the problem I've yet to find an answer to.

How about running some treasure maps (mysterious data disks)?
I've collected quite a few while foraging and before a guildie left the game she gave me quite a few.
I would like to do these in groups of eight (better treasures). If people don't have disks of their own I would be happy to provide them (but I can't give the ones I got from a guildie, I promised those would go to PXT). I believe they sell for 1 million each so when possible I would like to sell them to group members for 500K. I know I'm cheap; if we do this weekly 8 million seems like a lot to spend each week. If you can't afford the 500K then how about if, before we do the map, I get to call one or two pieces of loot. If those come up, I get to keep them, if they don't you can have whatever is in the box.
What do you think, any interest?

im down, id be happy to just be in the group killing harder lvl npc. In a big group a lot of npc spawn when used. Many nights there are many of us in the aliglobal. Hollar map run bro and im sure we can get 8. How about we do a daily event that involves RECRUITING MEDICS, pxt, ali, dont care, find medics. Bless bernie for his medic soul.  Check this, this forum has a calendar. Members logged in can post events on dates, times, everything, yay. Wont have to dig for chit, just click on calender and see the days things are running. |
