You guys STILL playing this game?
Has ANYTHING gotten better since I left?
Still laggy as all hell?
Is the CU really any good?
If you've played WoW, compare the "new" SWG to WoW.

ps .... I still haven't written SWG off. I'm dying to come back, but I haven't found a compelling reason to leave my WoW uber-leet level 60 Undead Mage..... although Derec Hattrix (Master Smuggler, Master Pistoleer, Master TK) is dying to come out of hiding. Rumor that he was seen near Nar Shaada.

ah....the joys of Monty Python  Come back and give the new stuff a chance guys, you'll find it very familiar to playing WoW, or so I've heard.... Of course, it is still SOE, and there are still bugs, but the new system is good. The CU promotes group play, though solo is still somewhat possible. Good to hear from you guys, thought you had been lost forever  |

SWG still has the most amazing potential. JTL was amazing. hattrix & I both miss tearin' up Dathomir on our weekly guild events. Soloin' elders, etc... CU seems like they did good things. Wookie-town planet looks o.k.
Did Nogger's macro his way to master jedi yet? What about Zev? Surely, he get's whacked daily by BH / TKM / Rifleman blends? Do they even play anymore? Parnell still check in once a month on his vendors, now that EQ2 and SWG can share station accounts?
Let's see an old-fashioned update. Where's Vashu? Hope'? Hyassa? Anyone home?

It's great to see some familiar names still active.
I wonder if my char is still saved and viable.....man I hope so.
I may bite the bullet and load SWG, get the 18,253 updates and log Derec back in.
Don't be suprised if you hear rumors of the reappearance of a famous Smuggler in / around CDeli City in the near future.

hi guys , im proud to say we have much of our old crew back. Mason, titus, grape, lowcase, jago, window, skara, to name a few, let alone a bunch of new members that kick ass. Everyone is kicking better then ever. To me the CU is the best thing that ever happen. No more trying to find buffs. No more kill stealing. (ground xp is same concept of space xp, just have to touch the target once for credit.) No more having to hunt on dath or dant to get any good xp. In fact its quite common to see ALI groups running missions from the cdeli city. No more flavor of the month for combat. Every profession has a chance in winning in any combat situation. Its all up to the skills of the player now. No more "everyone running in composite armor." All armor is equally effective. In otherwords, everyone can be original in looks, fighting style and tactics. (ie. i could be a TKM yet run with a ranged rifle.) The prof combos are now endless. Many new guns, new faction armor, new vehicles (multi person vehicles), new ships, new mobb bosses, the list goes on and on. As for the GCW lag... well, ive accepted that will forever be a factor. Hard to get good framerate when there are 400 people in one confined spot. You 2 just have to come check it out. IT IS NOT the game you once knew. You will have to relearn lots but im sure you'll see how the changes are for the better. Besides... if it sucks, just play WOW Good to see you guys. As always, keep me posted hyasa |

The CU rules. Galaxies rules again. I'm having tons of fun since coming back. ROTW is great. The whole thing is just nothing but fun. Come back. it'll be worth the 15$ and your time. Tons of others have returned; window, lowcase, grape, titus, mason, (forgive me if i failed to mention any returners). Plus ALI rules. so you have to come back.
