- When game first came out, so many peeps were trying to log in that it took a day to actually get in game
- If you died, you had to RUN back to where you died and LOOT your corpse in order to get your stuff back. And yes on the run back to your corpse you were only wearing your white boxers
- We had 3 bars: 1 health, 1 action, 1 mind. Depending on what special you used it would use points from a certain pool. If any of your bars reach 0... you incap
- Wounds and Battle fatigue: wounds are from when you died. Max health you were able to have was dramatically dropped. Fatigue was from fighting in general, causing what is known today as "glancing blows." Only a dancer would be able to fix your fatigue. Docs would fix your health
- Dizzy / knockdown: I win button

Ahh yes the good ole days, I remember grinding out Scout in a camp just outside of the city and also Doctor with Mikayluh on Dath I think in the cantina. Things were so different back then. I am happy to see where the game has gone since then.
The one thing I miss is the Multiple professions, Mikayluh at one time was a Master Doctor / Combat Medic, then right before I left she was Master Doctor / Master Ent. (i think) hell it's been 2-3 years since I played.
What I missed the most though was the fun I had with CDeli while I played. We had a blast. Some of you are probably still saying d**nit wish I remembered this guy, but hey we did have fun. I am glad to see that Hyasa, Hope', and all you other guys from Orignal CDeli are still around. I never found another group of more dedicated and awesome people in the other games I played after SWG like the group of people that you are.
I am glad to be back.....Home.

- you bought a travel ticket at a starport and would sometimes get to the ticket collector droid only to see that the next shuttle would be available in 9 minutes 59 seconds. - the only difference between the way players looked was the color of their composite armor - you had to train other folks to master your own profession.

I remember the first guild I joined was based on the Magical Floating Shrub. It was in closed Beta 1 when we first were testing combat.....the laser bolts would curve when you were firing on a moving target..... ahhh the good ol days.
Remember our first guild hall/city on Corellia? Remember when we changed our guild name from CDeli to ALI? Remember Hope?

- Running with 3 faction pets and 3 animal pets all out at the same time. 1 man army
- Fancy mentioned taking an entire group to kill a spat. I remember when our group of 20 Cdeli tried to run from Tyrena to Old Cdeli City on Corellia. It was about a 2k run... only 3 of us made it to the city. Things were fine till we ran into a pack of Dire Cats. Group paniced, group split, everyone died. Great times
- Jedi, touching the Jedi Shrine when it was time, huge bolt of lightning zapps you. You are now a jedi (cant remember how many screenshots i rolled off during that)
- dif but old, my first pvp kill ever. Tyrena, i was medic, imp had incapped a reb. I healed the Reb but that "TEF'ed," me. Dude came back, i ran for my life, lol i got far enough out to pull my squill (i was also CH). My squill basically ate him as i took pot shots at him.
- Remember when the mall got robbed, lol CSR added myself, jefe and Fancy to the house that had our stuff. (csr traced it) He also said who took what. I confronted the dude, i was added back onto admin of mall, we went to the house and took everything back. Fancy left a backpack in there labeled with something thingyy like thank you.
- The Cdeli Shuttle wouldnt work... forever (*shuttle not ready at this time, "Its been 2 weeks man!!!"
- Cdeli City is one of the oldest cities in game, Day 1 of City Hall placement (doesnt get any older than that)
- "window<Cdeli>" was first person ever on the planetary map for listed vendors
- Remember when Cdeli WAS the galactic Civil War? Mason<cdeli> led the galaxy Rebels
- Remember hiding gcw base terminals to avoid the imps from blowing it. (that still makes me laugh)
- Credit duping? "here hold this 10 mill for me," /trade, yank, relog, "look now we both have 10 mill," (dont try that today, they can detect and will /ban)
- Remember the Cdeli family screenshot on the steps of guild hall (barely fit everyone in the pic)

I'm jealous, guys... you need to put screenies up.
I remember the first screenshots and the very first commercial for SWG, with 3po and R2 and Greedo, then ending with the Krayt facing and growling. I downloaded the commercial and watched it and watched it, waiting for SWG to come out. I remember holding the game in my right hand and fifty dollars in my left, then reading the minimum requirements being above my P3 600 (at the time). If I remember correctly the minimum was a P3 1 Ghz. I remember a slight tearing up as I layed An Empire Divided backdown on the shelf in Best Buy.
And then, I remember getting a gift card for christmas '05 for Circuit City for $50.00. I had upgraded my computer a few months earlier. By then, JTL had come out, and it was no longer An Emprie Divided, but SWG the Starter Kit. I bought both, not knowing that JTL was included in the starter kit. I was so excited to play SWG that it didn't matter me spending the extra twenty bucks.
I knew nothing about the history, but of everything I've read and heard and learned... man I wish some of the things from pre-nge and pre-cu were still in place.
I do remember Pre-Expertise, when force lightning would hit for 3500dmg, the strike special would hit for 2500. Force push would hit for 800. Then they added the sweep special and brought the others down.
On Intprepid, in like Jan-Feb '06, my guild was in an underground Jedi Order at the light enclave. There must have been 200 people in there every Friday Night. Like ten different Jedi guilds were united, with title matches and special events. They even coordinated with the devs to have the spirit of Obi-Wan show up in the center of the enclave and interact with us.
That lasted for like 6 weeks. After the dark jedi found out, and one of the guys from my guild defected to the darkside, in a very overdramatic RP'ing kind of way, that just fell apart. I remember people saying that the Order was their last ditch effort to stay playing this game. I only saw three of those 90 on my friendslist ever again.
There was no mass exodus, they all just trickled away, playing once a day became once a week, once a month, etc. It is sad, those PostNGE days were really good to me. Fond memories from what seems like a lifetime ago, on a server far, far away.

I remember when in Beta, all the marskmen had pink/purple shirts on Good thing they changed it to brown on release. I also remember when I was in a group of 20 around wayfar, we ran into a small tusken camp. We were owning it up in our starting clothes and CDEF weapons. Then 'he' came: The Tusken Warlord. He wiped out all of us. We had a heckuva time trying to go back there to reloot our prized CDEFs. I also remmebr when they introduced armor into beta - all the 1337 doodz wore the bone armor..... until 3 days later someone figured out how to make chitin before they reset the server again. And those dang squills- they were nasty! I also remmber the doc buff lines at c-net starport lol. It was a crazy time....... Oh and you can't forget the base raids staged from CDeli onto Bastion O.o Those were fun!

Good read... almost brings a tear to your eye...
The most memorable moment in my newb life was in Theed (Back when there were still ent's in the cantina and stylist in the saloon). I was standing in front of the starport watching a bunch of imperial NPCs and players running around killing everything. Then out of the woodwork, 5 jedi whip out lightsabers and cut everybody down, after every thing was dead, they re-grouped, lightsabers went down and POOF! they took off in diffrent directions and disapeared as fast as they appeared.
I was such a newb I just stood there, couldn't even grasp what I had just witnessed.
Most memorable SWG moment I ever witnessed, right up there with watching a jedi case a BH, on foot, from one side of Tatooine to the other because he attacked while the jedi was in a group.
