Hey everyone!
So I haven't been on here in forever... almost the same ingame. I have been so rediculously busy in RL, that I've had almost no time in game. Aside from that, the few hours I do get to log in, nobody is ever on.
I suppose a quick update is in order...
I finished school last spring ('08). I got my degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering. I did some interning and I absolutely hate pushing a pencil. I ended up getting a waiting job last summer. Man it is brutal. But, it has afforded me the opportunity to do what I want during the day. The downside is, of course, that I work nights. By the time I get home, most of you are already sleeping
Then, last August my pops had an emergency triple bypass. It has really changed my views on life. After a six year hiatus, I decided to get back into acting. I did a few movies a while back and really missed being on set. Within a month of getting my headshots, I had signed with Wilhelmina Models and booked my first commercial... bud light. I was a featured extra (glorified extra), but, none-the-less, an exciting opportunity. Two weeks after that, I booked the lead role in a Toyota commercial. Grant it, it will only air in Canada, but it is still a huge step in the right direction.
The holidays were very somber, but the most gratifying I've had in a long time. I ended up working new years... so no party stories this year!
Last week I met with a director about a low budget indie flick that a buddy, and myself, wrote a few years back. We're finally getting some interest about it and it's starting to go places. If it wasn't for me going to the bahamas this past weekend, we would be knee deep in the pre-production technicals of this film. We're starting the process tomorrow (today, actually ).
As far as ingame goes... I did have the chance to participate in the life day celebration (just the one day, thank you, hyasa!) and I regret to inform everyone that watouku is closing up shop and has set his eyes on greener pastures... He has decided to embark on an inter-galactic mission and, regretfully, will accidentally drop out of hyperspace during a type 1a supernova. He won't be returning. But, his long lost brother will be arriving from the Intrepid galaxy. Eltouku Adorn. If you happen to see Eltouku, please be so kind to say, "hi".
Other than that, nothing new!
As I am rarely on when everyone else is, please, tell me what you have all been up to!!!
