This morning I awoke and had an epiphany, and while I don't really know how to spell epiphany, it was a strong one. With the building pack-up coming, sweeping through the galaxy, wiping many cities from the land and removing citizens from them as though the Black Plague has come to Bria... many have realized, that it may be time for change.
This change, I envision, could come in the form of bring the ones we have grown to call friends in SWG together. Dragging them all from the ashes of once great cities, to rebuild, to breath life into what has become void. What am I saying? I say we join together, to form a city greater than any we have had in the past. In this city, I see people logging in, opening their overhead map and EXPECTING to see people wondering through the streets. I see a cantina with at least one entertainer in it, if not more, at almost all times, that not only citizens come to see, but others who need their inspiration as well. I see an entire street, full of vendors, selling everything any player could ever want to buy, looted and crafted. I see citizens of this town, proud to live there. In a place that shows WE still have motivation to play SWG and enjoy what WE have created. Oh, it is a wonderous sight indeed.
How can such a city exist, in this time of void, in this time of loss and despair? Why should people leave their home cities, cities which they have been with, lived in, stored their belongings, created objects of magnificent power that have been used throughout the galaxy, and nurtured for years through thick and thin... cities that they have created from nothing but an open piece of land... I am not asking people to abandon what they have cherished for all these years, I am asking that WE create something greater, something grand, something that rivals even the best times of old. We start anew.
Sounds great don't it? But how the f**k could we possiably pull that off? It won't be easy, but I believe. I believe if we all work together, the people of ALI, CoS, PXT, and others in ALIGlobal that wish to sign on. Again it won't be an easy task, but all BS aside, WE can do it. The details are in the work, but ideas are needed, direction is needed, volunteers are needed. This is an all or nothing event folks, do YOU have the BAWLS to sign on? If not I'm sure we can get you some.
