So much has taken place in the last few weeks i hope this post helps to get everyone on the same page.

An update is coming march 3 that allows players to remove any structures, that are marked "abandoned," from the game. Houses/structures that are poofed will default to the owner's datapad. Our city was hit hard and change is in order. So we came up with something along these lines. *thanx catone

Cdeli City is no longer that name. Instead it is now known as Intervention City. If anyone is offended by this name or has a better name bring it up.

Plans to rebuild our city has been in the making for years. Dead houses have always been the wrench in the design. Come March 3 we finally have an opportunity to really design this city into something special.

Input from everyone has helped me mold a master city design. Special thanx to Catone for the late nights "idea tossing" sessions. What does this mean for you? Im like a giggling school girl at this point, i cant wait to show you.

I need everyone involved to log in the week of MARCH 3 to be ready to move your house(s). The earlier you can get with me the better. Not everything is getting moved, but lots of new spots will be open. You may wish to be closer to the beach or shuttle for example.

The rebuilding process will happen from March 3 to March 8. Key city locations will be a first come first serve basis!!! THE CITY CHANGE MUST HAPPEN THAT WEEK. Personally im shooting for a 1 day set up. Don't think i could do it?

None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for our friends from PXT and COS. The ability to communicate and act so quickly has us wondering what we could do if we were all one team.

Over the last few weeks ive been in meetings with Catone, jims, kejid, guano, jett, litoka and endless one on one sessions with pretty much all of you. The topic?: 1 team, 1 city, new name. Through endless concerns such as vendors, guild representation, city design, seasonal players, recruiting and everything under the sun we have come to a conclusion.

We are forming one guild. Process to be complete the weekend of march 3, 09. The renaming of our city was the first step. All members will be living in Intervention City. (yes people have houses on other planets but declared residency will be in our city.) A good example of why this is happening is in Catone's post titled "New City, Utopia," please read, it's inspiring. We havn't decided on a new guild name or tag as of yet. Ill do my best to keep everyone posted on details as ideas are tossed around.

Here were some of the ideas for tags:

*TRI = the Trifecta of cos, ali, pxt. (The Alliance)
*VoF = Vanguard of Freedom
*Meow = Super Troopers
*TCP = The Collective Power
*NGWT = Need Girlfriend Will Travel

Ill be the rep (guild leader, guy who's put out for the snipers) with many representation from each current teams: pxt,cos. When/if situations arise concerning our city or guild the following people are able to represent and determine the direction taken: Guano, Litoka, Jett', Catone, Kejid, Jims. If you ever feel "out of the loop," be assured each of them will know the details of any situation and you can turn to them for guidance. No decision will be made without a verdict from each of them.

'09 looks promising so far. We've only begun to scratch the surface.

I am taking March 3rd off...i'm 94% down with the plan. I don't want to change my Ali tag. Other than that I'm in ....

Changing the guild tag... bet you thought youd never hear that from me again eh? Last time we changed we were Cdeli, named after a computer store in RL. Tired of living in a shadow, let alone a lame name, we decided to change to ALI, latin: Aeternum Laesi Imperium.

Over the last few years ive considered myself in a sense "retired," in game. Not as in i didnt want to play anymore, more like i felt ive done everything in game that ive wanted to do. I admit ive had days here and there that i wonder why im still in game. Id log in, literally sit on a step and bs with peeps for a few hours.. then sleep not really accomplishing anything. Lots of the people we hang with can relate. They log in, see whos around, if nothing going on they log off.

The merging of our 3 teams, let alone having a perfect city with active bodies, will hopefully bring back that much needed spark to everyone's gameplay. Aside having millions of credits, uber weapons and armor this time around, we have our friends, our in game friends, all under the same roof again.

Wasn't easy for me to be willing to change the ALI tag. But all in all bro, i take a step back and remember, this is just a game. That first day we're all crusin' in my skiff with 8 of us, same tag, same group of friends, im sure ill forget all about the ALI tag.

Come up with a cool name and tag. Cant be left up to me because ill just vote Super Troopers, Meow. Anyone who sees a Meow tag will remember that tag forever im sure. Has a way of sticking out.

In the end, the guild tag is what we make it, end of story. No matter how cool or how pointless that tag is in the begining we are all capable of making any tag into a well known and respected guild. Think about it,

ALI, isn't "Aeternum Laesi Imperium", its <ALI>.
PXT isn't "Power Extreme", its <PXT>
CoS isn't "Counsil of Solaris", its <CoS>

The SWG community doesn't refer to you as a member of "Bad ass guild name" they refer to you by your <tag> and that tag, no matter what assortment of letters, is exactly what we make it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Now that I've done my rant, a few ideas I'm throwing out there, not neccisarily a pick on of these type deal, just some ideas to think about off the top of my head.

Again just something to think about, but come on, the tag is exactly what we make it. Nothing more, nothing less.

There seems to be a lot of stress as of late with this merger deal and trying to come up with a cool name. I personally refuse to let it get to me in a negative way. This should be fun guys, a chance to pull all of our individual powers together as one. We have no deadlines, no end of game scenario if things dont happen this instant. Everyone needs to slow down and check yourself before you wreck yourself, relax.

Yes we are changing our name. yes pxt, cos and ali will become ONE team, new name. Yes everyone has concerns, but everyone also wants the same goal. Im confident everything will work out perfectly. I wish i could wave a magic wand to show you our vision and say "trust me, everything will be ok," but i realize it's not quite that easy, (almost but not quite).

We are doing the right thing by getting everyone involved with this change, getting your ideas, hearing your direction youd like to see the guild take, as one. The more ideas and concerns i hear the better i feel about this merger. Everyone has been stressing their concerns and it makes me proud that we are able to do this as a team instead of a few peeps making final decisions whether people are on board or not.

Catone, myself, jett, litoka, oahni, guano, jims, komrad, to name a few, have been banging our heads together trying to come up with a cool name and tag. We have literally hit a stale mate. Every name discussed has been posted on this thread. We sure could use some new blood to step in and toss out some ideas, or to agree with old ones, to get this show on the road.

Between hearing the same ideas over and over and guano's anxiety attacks i can honestly say im having a blast with this, lol. Its so cool that we have people very gung ho over this transition.

Those who still have problems with this please get with me and ill personally describe my vision and reasons for this change. In the 5 years ive been guild leader and city mayor have i ever let you down? Have i ever made a decision that has caused nothing but problems? Better yet have i ever made a decision without speaking to everyone else first? Ive never jumped off a cliff without knowing whats down there. My promise to you is to continue a path that will not hinder or break us.

Besides, lets say it completely sucks. Nothing is in stone. We flip a few switches and everything is back exactly how it was before. So where's your balls? Everyone complains of being bored in game. Here's a chance to feel hyped once again. This direction we are taking has really brought this game back to life for me personally and im looking forward to the new challenges to come. I feel really good about this change and the one thing i want more than anything else is for everyone involved to feel as good as i do about it.

Again as guild leader ive promised to never let you down. Im not about to start now. So climb aboard my fellow ALI. Ive seen the bottom of the cliff and i tell you.. its glorious down there. Our teams were once the dominant teams on the server. Let's show them once again that we're still here and what we can do as a team.

Ok, i just read these posts above ^ and am absolutely stoked! Well said, hyasa. Something did stick out as I was reading your post, hyasa... it actaully ties to what cat wrote above... It's about the tag... and the fact that you empahsized a particular word actually sticks out to me as the tag for our new guild....

"One" as a tag was brought up early in the idea tossing sessions but was already taken by another guild. We decided to go with TRI.. TRI comes from everyone having to "try" harder because we are such noobs. "Y" being replaced with "I" as in everyone's self needs to try harder, hence "TRI." .... totally kidding bro about where it comes from, but we did go with TRI. (TRI-fecta, our 3 guilds coming together to form one guild, "Order of Elders.")
