A few months in review...

It has been an interesting few months. We've accomplished much, made new friends and continue to go forward. . Many new members have found a home with ALI and we continue to grow. If any old guard still read these boards ill have you know that we have made great new, in game connections for groups, our city is blooming and each day we are setting new goals. Our team is as strong as ever... if not stronger.

I personally thank knhawk for setting up what is known as the ALIGlobal chat, and allowing me to bring in other guilds to this chat. Our main sister guild, that uses this chat with us, is called COS. They are an old guard guild and a very great, great group of old vet players. They always have something to bring to the table. They are very fun to play with and have the same goals as us. As far as im concerned, ALI is COS, and COS is ALI. We are one guild. Respect them as such. *Please remember to keep the F word out of the ALI chat. , or at least mis-spell it.

Recently an old guard guild has decided to join us as members of ALI. They were known as VALOR. Kelbi is/was the VALOR leader and im very excited that they are a part of us. Kelbi is and will always be a senior officer of SWG. I felt his pain with him as he hung up the valor tags, but also felt the excitement as he put on his ALI tags. Let's reassure him and his people that they made the right decision.

With as many members and new friends that we have now, sometimes people get lost in the shuffle. This is unacceptable. We are at an all time high for communication, grouping, and having a great team. Let's be sure everyone's needs and concerns are heard and that everyone is included.

I want to recognize a few ALI names that have been standing out of the crowd lately:

- Navalha, dude you are one of the coolest people i have ever met. Everyone speaks very highly of you, respect you and all around cant talk about you enough. Your kind, helping ways always bring happiness to everyone you encounter. I thank you for being a part of our team and look forward to what else we can do together.

- Noobimad, Ive watched you go from the one everyone picks on (nicely teasing of course), to the leader you are today. Your "lets get it done man," ways never cease to amaze me. You are truely one of ALI's finest.

- Knhawk/tiggs, You 2 are the greatest. Always willing to help. Putting your team first in every aspect. You both are literally a 2 man army and i believe you can do anything and everything. (i know, ive seen it myself)

Hope', My beloved in game wife of almost 3 years now. Without you we could not have accomplished what we have today. When im down and flustered you always pick me back up and get me back in gear. You truely are the backbone of ALI and made me the leader I am today. Many of you come to me for help when things seem rough. When im bummed out, i go to Hope .. our "First Lady of ALI." They say behind every great man... there is a women rolling her eyes at them. Thank you for everything baby. Our empire could not have been built without you.

I also want to recognize members that have been with us a long time: radosi, zev-tan, ryenai, Millar, Onildera, saizekk, ... i know im forgetting half the names. Just kick me in the head to remind me and ill update this.

Members that are ALI that you may have forgot about: Sai-mi (currently serving in military, come home soon bud), Skara (our resource god), arion (arion, where are ya bro?), Robacca, (very kind wookie with words of wisdom, dont miss out on meeting him)

Rising stars: ahpuc, izanami, the dark brothers, eday, (again im forgetting names here, very very sorry. havnt had my coffee yet when posting this)

People id like to see as ALI: Siso, Faith, Laxor, Kejid, All COS members.

These last few months have been a blast. I thank everyone for being a part of ALI and i thank COS for helping us set new game standards. I can't wait to see what else we can do together. I'm very proud of our team. You guys/gals are the greatest and continue to prove so day in and day out. /golfclap

My door is always open. I want to hear your thoughts, ideas, concerns and all of the above. Let's make this year the greatest ever.

One thing i wanted to add. Im trying to plan an in game event but i wanted to hear what you guys thought about it first:

/roleplay on: With the continuing dominating force of the empire the rebels are being eradicated. To prepare for a final stand, rebel guilds cos and ali have joined forces to save the rebel forces. A meeting took place between the 2 leaders to discuss military strategies. A few words of wisdom and encouragement was said by Princess Leia and everyone felt victory was at hand... we then hear ships land outside our city and the marching of droids.

Lord Vader recognizing our alliance as a threat is personally overseeing the process to stop us. With him he brought his finest army to attack us and to disrupt our chance of becoming a dominating force. /roleplay off

Basically we all meet inside the city hall. Myself, hope, jett and whoever he wants will be in front. We pretend to discuss our strategy, Leia shows up to encourage us, tells us that vader is on his way. We then go outside to see vader and his army getting ready to attack us. We then fight vader and his droids for about 30 mins and the event will be over. What do you think?

This is just one of many ideas we have come up with. Id like to hear your ideas.

ahhhh thank you for your kind words hyasa even tho we live a few thousands miles apart u know I love ya....hell im closer to u then most RL friends. Funny how u meet people on the internet and grow so close...anyway thank you hyasa for filling alot of long lonely nights for me talking about everything from aliens to lawn mowers LOL Smoooch Hey baby u allowed me to act a fool learning to fight in swg....and u keep teaching me everyday....just one of the many reasons I respect you so much...

I would also like to thank our members for all the fun times, and for treating me like a lady...

I love the idea of a vader/leia event lets do it sounds like alot of fun....

id like to say thank you very much for the offer into the guild. as ive stated, if it werent for previous obligations, id glady hang the ALI tag above my head proudly. maybe if i add another account, /ponder. most of all, id like to tell you guys how great it is to find a guild of great people. my main is Laxor, my alt is Tekha, so if you see me around, feel free to say hi. or if you need help on any quest, i play to help. take care all.

p.s. to the guy in Iraq, i served 7 months there as a Marine Infantry Squad leader. this might sound bad to everyone else, but enjoy your time there, and take pics. Its an experience youll remember for the rest of your life.
